We do everything we can to make orthodontics fun for children. We use the InOvation® System to treat both kids and adults, but we make treatment more fun for kids by including incentives for good oral hygiene and compliance during treatment with games and contests. Plus, InOvation doesn’t require any tightening so the interval between office visits as well as the length of time they need to spend at the office with each visit is reduced. In other words, they get a Torque Orthodontics Smile with less time out of school and with greater comfort than ever before.

If your child is in our growth and observation program, that means they aren’t yet ready for treatment but we’re monitoring their growth until they’re ready. Their growth and observation appointments will be scheduled every 6 to 12 months. Children learn great habits that will help them maintain a healthy, beautiful smile throughout their life.

Dr. Monckton believes that orthodontics is about more than just straightening teeth. While orthodontics is all about tooth movement, our approach considers both your smile and your facial features. We pay special attention to the details that make a smile the best that it can be. With InOvation Braces you can choose from traditional metal or esthetic tooth-coloured brackets. It’s a very appealing approach for adults who want the best result without drawing undue attention to the fact they’re in treatment.
